New Dementia Village and Pub

As specialists in dementia care, we understand the importance of providing the friendliest and most comfortable setting for our residents. We believe that it’s essential to create an environment that allows our residents to lead happy lives, with independence.

We’re thrilled to be developing a unique Dementia Village at Field House Care Home. It gives us great pleasure to see our residents enjoying relaxing in their coffee shop and garden room. We’ve even transformed an unused building into a village pub for them too. Our residents just love a trip to their local pub (as do we!).

We’re hoping to extend our Dementia Village further soon, with a corner shop, post box and a village library.

Our Dementia Village is designed to give our dementia residents freedom to roam around and explore the different areas if they so wish, whilst remaining safely and securely within our care home. We see it as an important extension of our ‘home-from-home’ environment at Field House Care Home.
